This is a community-based free tai chi program. It is open to everyone regardless of tai chi experience. It is designed around four ideas. We make learning and practicing tai chi:
- Safe
- Fun
- Simple
- Healthy
We are new member-friendly, so if you do not know any tia chi, this is for you. If you know a little, this is for you. if you are an advanced practitioner in the Simplified Yang Style 24 Form, you will enjoy our program.
All participants follow 7 rules to join us.
- Do not try to do anything we teach or see us do you can not do.
- Stay in your comfort zone.
- This is exercise, if you have any medication or health conditions that exercise may interfere with you should have your healthcare provider's permission to join us.
- If you get tired or dizzy you may take a break anytime you need to.
- We end in 1 hour and you are free to leave. However, we may teach longer if members stay longer.
- Relax breathe and have fun.
- Tell the lead instructor if you feel anything is not safe, fun, simple, or healthy.
ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY/WAIVER
I have read and understand the Program Rules. I understand the inherent risk in exercise activities. In consideration for admission to this class, I:
- (a) accept full responsibility for, and assume the risk of any injuries sustained because of, my participation in this class or practice of Tai Chi;
- (b) release and hold harmless Clint Pearman, Tai Chi Edge, and all instructors for any liabilities, injuries, and expenses that may arise as a result of my participation in this class, training, or lessons involving Tai Chi.
- (c) I acknowledge that I have no medical reasons that would prevent my participation in this class or workshop.
- (d) I understand that if I have any medication or medical concerns it is my responsibility to obtain a clearance from my doctor before commencing this program.

- (d) I understand that, if I do have any medical reasons why I should not participate in this class, it is my responsibility to obtain a clearance from my doctor before commencing and notify the instructor and Tai Chi Edge.
