Trek in Nepal: Langtang Valley
Details
### Overview
The Langtang Valley, located along the Nepal-Tibet border, is a stunning example of a glaciated landscape formed during the last ice age. The trek offers a mix of easy walking and challenging ascents, with diverse landscapes ranging from lower Himalayan foothills to high-altitude glaciers.
The valley narrows at its northeastern end, with glaciers descending from towering peaks. Within a few days, trekkers journey from lush forests to the alpine terrain of the high Himalayas, reaching the striking viewpoint of Tsergo Ri at 5,150 meters.
