Flicker Nest Box Workshop

Knock knock! Who's there? It might be a Northern Flicker damaging your house, attempting to excavate a nest location! The most effective solution is actually one of the most straightforward - give them a better option! Learn how to build, prepare, and successfully position a flicker nest box on your property to deter damage to your home, or to simply provide these beautiful and quirky woodpeckers with a safe nesting environment.

This workshop will involve the use of power tools and will be hosted in an outdoor environment subject to seasonal weather. The workshop begins at noon - but late arrivals are ok, we will have a few instructors ready to help folks build these boxes at their own pace! We are requesting a minimum $75 attendance donation per person to cover building supplies and time.
