We are planning a field trip to Descanso Gardens, located in La Canada Flintridge, to attend the Enchanted Forest of Light event, on Monday December 9th, 2024 @ 5:30pm.

By day, Descanso blossoms and chitters with cheerful and welcoming, sunlit landscapes. By night, Enchanted Forest of Light transforms the gardens into an entirely different realm of magic, mystery, and incandescence.

Enchanted’s inventive installations cultivate a parallel world with light, color, and ambient music that transform familiar garden spaces into whimsical, dramatic, and sublime botanical artscapes.

Expect to see popular installations, including an entire town of magical “stained glass” houses by contemporary sculptor Tom Fruin; sparkling geometric installations from HYBYCOZO; Flower Power on the Promenade; and exquisite lighting effects in the Ancient Forest.

Tickets are on sale now and are prices at $28–38 per adult (members of Descanso) or $35–45 per adult (non-members)

This is a very popular event and sells out quickly , so purchase your tickets as soon as possible.

Parking is free.

We will meet at the main entrance at 5:30pm.

To attend any TOPG event you must be a member in good standing and you must have a completed and have on file a TOPG Waiver and Release Form. If you intend to bring a guest, they must also have a Waiver and Release Form on file. The Waiver and Release Form are available on the TOPG website.
