The TOPG will taking a Field Trip to photograph birds at the Sepulveda Basin Wildlife Reserve.

We will meet at the boat ramp **inside the reserve** at 6:45am. Getting onsite quickly is important if you want to catch sunrise. (Sometimes the gate is opened early. So, you should try to be there by 6:30 if you can.)

Directions - Park in the dirt parking area on the LEFT (north) side of the access road BEFORE the small traffic circle. Look for a medium sized monument across (south) from the parking area and walk down (south) the dirt road towards the lake.

Bring your longest lens, some water, and perhaps a snack. Some of us find monopods very helpful for wildlife shooting.

This is a VERY weather dependent field trip, and rain or windy/Santa Ana conditions will cancel the event.

Pete will be available to answer questions about camera setup for bird photography.

To attend any TOPG event you must be a member in good standing and you must have a completed and have on file a TOPG Waiver and Release Form. If you intend to bring a guest, they must also have a Waiver and Release Form on file. The Waiver and Release Form are available on the TOPG website.
