What we’re about
Espresso Talks and The Writers Block founder Anthony T. Eaton unveiled his Dynamic Rotating Exhibit in Downtown Saint Paul.
Anthony has transformed a vacant retail space into an exhibit entitled “Through the Window: Look. Pause. Discover.”
The space is on Town Square's skyway level, 445 Minnesota Street, Saint Paul, MN 55102.
The first of five exhibits over six months, “Pride: Pioneers & Progress” is more than just an art exhibit. It's a celebration of diversity and inclusivity, curated to honor the invaluable contributions of LGBTQ+ pioneers. This premier exhibit promises to engage and enlighten visitors as it highlights the rich history and significant contributions of LGBTQ+ trailblazers and the history of the Pink Triangle.
Running throughout June, national Gay Pride Month, the exhibit "Pride: Pioneers and Progress” is a testament to the power of representation and storytelling in reshaping the understanding of our history and identity.
Following this debut exhibit, "A Life in Art" will take center stage, showcasing the remarkable works of artist Jim Smola (1950-2022). Jim's legacy lives on through his diverse body of work spanning stained glass, pottery, handmade paper, and photography.
As the rotating exhibit series unfolds, it's not just about the art. It's about sparking conversations, fostering connections, and building a stronger community. Each showcase will delve into the intersection of arts and social issues, inviting everyone to participate and contribute to the dialogue.
