What we’re about
Thursday Nite Cinema is a movie night for people who enjoy movies as a form of human expression. The group was created to generate community around film, atmosphere and the human connection that comes from shared experiences like movies.
We host in the historic Atlantic Theatres in Atlantic Beach. Doors at 630 and films start at 700pm. Discussions to begin after film ends in the Lobby.
Available on prem, we'll have movie-theater popcorn, candy, and drinks for a small donation - or Bring your Own!
- Details: Once monthly, usually third Thursdays, at 7 pm at the Historic Atlantic Theatres in Atlantic Beach
- Cost: Suggested donation of $5. Snacks and Movie Theater popcorn also available for small donation!
- Movie Titles/Hints: In order to keep admissions "donation based", we are using a license that prohibits advertising the titles to the general public. When you RSVP, you will see the movie title! Or ask our hosts at your next visit and they can share what upcoming titles are expected!
- Structure of the events: We'll kick off each movie with a brief introduction to the film and the theme. Guests are encouraged to hang out afterward and discuss the film. The lobby will be open and other facility offerings like swap shop, group meetings may also be happening.
