The monks from the Drepung Loseling Monastery will visit Unity North Atlanta from November 24 to December 1, 2024.
Drepung Loseling is dedicated to the study and preservation of the Tibetan Buddhist tradition of wisdom and compassion. A center for the cultivation of both heart and mind, it provides a sanctuary for the nurturance of inner peace and kindness, community understanding, and global healing.
Join us for the week’s activities:
11:15 am Sunday morning services on November 24 and December 1.
Mandala Sand Painting in the Sanctuary will be Monday - Wednesday and Friday - Saturday from 12 - 7 pm. Thursday, Nov. 28 is Thanksgiving and the mandala will not be available for viewing.
Make your own prayer flag to take home during Sanctuary hours
Lecture on mindfulness and meditation on Wednesday, November 27 at 7 pm in the Sanctuary.
The closing ceremony will be held on Sunday, December 1, at 2 pm. $10 suggested love offering to help support the monks.
Donations collected at the Mandala Sand Painting and merchandise sales help support over 3,000 monks at the Drepung Loseling Monastery in exile in India.
