What we’re about
The Old Dominion Military Society (ODMS) is a wargaming club that meets weekly, in Newport News. We play miniatures games, board games - based on history as well as sci-fi and fantasy. We try to play different games every week, but they are always beginner friendly. Often we will talk about the hobby (painting miniatures, rules, new games, etc) as well as discussing history.
Anyone is welcome, if they have an interest in wargaming. You don't have to be an expert - new players are always welcome. You don't have to be a history nerd. All we like is people who are interested in wargaming.
We meet at World's Best Comics and Gaming in Newport News, every Thursday night starting around 6:00. We will talk about games. One or more people will set up a game to play that night. There is always room for more games. Some people play, some people just watch. But we are all about having a good time.
