The world has changed. We programmers feel it more than anyone else.
To survive, we don't compete with AI to do our job. We learn to use the AI to do our job better.

Github Copilot AI is less intrusive than most. It can suggest code snippets, take care of boilerplate code, can even explain pieces of code. Pair programming at its finest.

There is a dark side too. From clearly flawed, wrong or ineficient code to subtle bugs, it can do more harm than good in naive hands. Can we do something about it?

htmx: More than a meme?

Without a doubt htmx's irreverent meme-ing made it one of the most hyped new frameworks out there; everybody has heard of it, but is anyone really using it? Is the simple life proposed by htmx actually a step in the right direction for the front-end or is htmx just out of touch with the reality of the JS world?

In this talk we'll get hands-on with some real htmx code and see if it's something worth considering. If not, at least there will be memes
