We're starting up a new Dungeons and Dragons campaign. This campaign will be using the 2024 Players Handbook and One D&D rules (D&D 5.5e). I'm taking this approach both to test out the new rules and to make it easier for new players to join in. My goal is to make this a campaign friendly to new players. We're also going to try to have an open table so people can come in and out of the campaign as their schedule allows.

This session zero will be used to get everyone familiar with each other, establish any house rules we want to use, and make sure everyone is comfortable with the themes for the campaign. After this session, I'm hoping to have session one on Dec 9th, and having weekly sessions every Monday after that.

***Character creation rules.***

* *Source: 2024 Players Handbook*. I can provide a PDF copy of the 2024 PHB to players who do not want to buy a copy. When you join the D&D Beyond Campaign you'll be able to access the species & classes
* *Ability Scores*: *Standard Array or Point Buy* for your character's stats
* *Character Level: Starting at Level 1.* I plan to try and level up characters quickly to level 3 so you don't spend too much time at level 1.
* *Background:* Choose a background with an Origin Feat
* *Alignment:* Please do not create an Evil aligned character, and create a character that would want to go on an adventure.
* Player vs Player combat will not be allowed.
