What we’re about
Improve your speaking and leadership skills in a friendly and safe environment at Toastmasters Business Club Slovenia.
Our club aims to facilitate career and business-oriented talks, speeches, workshops, personal development topics, and soft skills training. However, we are not limited to these types of speeches, and our members can give speeches on any topic they choose.
In addition, we organize speech competitions at the club level every year. Our club is well connected to other Toastmasters clubs in our Area and District, providing you with many opportunities to speak in front of diverse audiences.
Everyone interested in advancing their communication, leadership, and public speaking skills is welcome to join us. You are welcome to attend as a guest a few times to see if our club meets your expectations.
We meet on the first and third Monday of each month in Ljubljana. Please check our events for location and time information.
Please note that our meetings are conducted in English.

If you've ever experienced stage fright when speaking in public, we provide a supportive space where you can build your confidence as a speaker. With every appearance on our stage, you can take steps to overcome your stage fright and learn effective ways to give great speeches
Our meetings, conducted in English, are held twice a month on the first and third Monday of each month. We welcome anyone who is passionate about improving their communication and leadership skills.
Here's what to expect during our meetings:
Meeting Structure:
1st PART - Prepared speeches by our members
2nd PART - Short impromptu speech competition (you can vote for the best speaker, and you can also participate on your first visit)
3rd PART - Speech evaluations and general feedbackOptionally:
4th PART - An "Ideas to practice" session, where our members give short workshops or similar presentations
5th PART - "Member for Member," a pitch-style speech where everybody can present their ideas, businesses, programs, etc. If you have an idea you'd like to present, we welcome you to share it with us. Please get in touch with us prior to your visit if you wish to present your idea at [email protected].We invite you to visit us a few times to see if our energy and approach match your expectations. Please arrive at least 10 minutes early to get to know us better.
