What we’re about
Toastmasters are about individual personal growth - with emphases on public speaking and leadership.
Toastmasters clubs are self-forming and individualistic, while retaining and respecting Toastmasters International and District 29 guidelines.
We are looking for new members who are self-motivated to find and follow their own personal growth path - in the Toastmasters framework. We are people who can make a promise and keep it. Does that sound like you? If so, you should start visiting clubs until you find first one that fits. "The first one?" Yes. After you have established yourself in your first club, you will likely find more clubs you want to join. Many of us are members of 2,3, or more clubs. It is really that much fun!
District 29's Divisions A & G consist of 22 Toastmasters clubs along the I-95 corridor from Fairfax County to Fredericksburg and east to King George. Outside of our mutual journey towards excellence, each club enjoys it's own set of strengths and style of group dynamics. Explore for free which group works best for you. Bi-annual membership dues are comparable to two self help books twice a year!
Come join our family! We are a community which provides a SAFE environment for personal growth and self development. Toastmasters Leadership Institute training is FREE within District 29 Div. A & G. We are the right place for you whether you are looking to improve your: impromptu speaking; prepared speeches and presentations; listening skills; leadership skills; team building skills and a world full of other attributes for success. Toastmaster membership has facilitated: tons of fun; personal growth; job promotions; networking base; career changes; raises at our member's work; a solid respected referral base; and jump-started many people's paid public speaking careers. Join us to unlock your potential.
District 29 is the growing, vibrant home of over 140 Toastmasters clubs and more than 2,500 members. Our District spans west of the Capital Beltway, from Leesburg to the north, to Front Royal in the west, to Fredericksburg in the south. Each of our clubs provides opportunities for personal development and success to our members as they work to achieve communication and leadership goals in safe, collaborative, and fun environments.
