Sunday Afternoon Toastmasters
Details
2024 is the year to conquer your fear of public speaking, develop existing presentational & leadership skills, or just find a space to connect and share stories.
Sunday Afternoon Toastmasters offers all these opportunities. We are a friendly and supportive club based in Lower Hutt who meet every second Sunday afternoon, and we invite you to come along and see what Toastmasters is all about.
Looking to improve your public speaking, ability to speak “off the cuff”, or leadership skills? Toastmasters can help...
Build confidence
Speak with clarity and fluency
Think on your feet
Organise your thoughts
Increase your vocabulary
Practise leadership skills
Develop meeting skills
Build technical competencies
Toastmasters has an online educational programme called Pathways teaching various aspects of public speaking and leadership that members work through at their own pace. All members are paired with a mentor who will help you on your Toastmasters journey.
Our Sunday Afternoon Toastmasters club is also a great place to meet people and make new friends as our members travel from all over the Hutt and Wellington to attend the club. We think Sunday afternoons are a great time to meet as many people are busy with work and family during the week. Plus we only meet once every 2 weeks.
Check us out on Facebook or Instagram @SundayAfternoonToastmasters.
If you are interested in coming along please call George on 022 0387 897 for more details, send us an email via the Contact Us form on this website, or message us on Facebook.
