IoT with Arduino Cloud: Beginner-Friendly Workshop

Details

connect your projects to the Internet, visualize data in real time, and manage your devices remotely using Wi-Fi.
You’ll work with two ESP32 boards, a BME280 sensor to measure temperature, humidity, and air pressure, and a small screen to display your data. We’ll guide you through soldering, wiring, and programming your sensors, and show you how to send the data to Arduino Cloud for online monitoring.
Arduino Cloud makes it easy for makers of all levels to build and manage IoT projects. By the end of the workshop, you’ll have a fully functioning system and the knowledge to expand your project by adding more sensors.

About the Instructor:
Our own Tog member, Jeffrey Roe, is a software and hardware engineer from Ireland. When he’s not building public transport systems or lecturing at Maynooth University, you’ll find him experimenting with everything from bubble machines and bone conduction tech to IoT devices and LEDs. Jeffrey also co-runs Dublin Maker, a festival that brings together the best of the maker community. He’s a big part of what makes Tog such a creative space, and as an amateur radio enthusiast, he's always finding new ways to integrate tech into his projects.
