What we’re about
Like science fiction, reading stories from diverse authors, meeting new people, and talking about books? Then you're in the right place!
Every month, we will read one book and then meet and discuss it. We will meet in person on the second Sunday of each month from 5-7 pm, or if that's a holiday weekend, on the third Sunday.
We meet near Church and Wellesley. We also have social meetings on an ad-hoc basis.
To help everyone enjoy this group to the fullest there are some general guidelines for all members:
- All are welcome and there is zero tolerance for discrimination, harassment, bullying, or dominating the conversation.
- Members should be mindful to include everyone in the discussions.
- Differences in opinions are welcome and encouraged, so long as they do not conflict with the above points.
- Members in good standing will be able to propose and vote upon the choice of book for each month
- Books from diverse authors and/or with diverse characters and topics are encouraged.
- Members are expected to read the books in order to attend the discussions.
