What we’re about
After spending so many weekends in a dimly lit room facing the glow of my ultra-expensive computer, I finally took up the internet's prescription to go "touch grass" seriously.
Whatever the reason that led you here, Touch Grass Toronto is giving us an excuse to "touch grass" and get to know the city better by keeping an eye out for cheap thrills, cafes, and picturesque views along the way.

See all- walking through small parks to a bright and festive shopping districtOntario Fire Fighters Memorial, Toronto, ON
The Bloor-Yorkville area kicks off the holidays by adorning the neighborhood with bright lights and live music. Although Bloor-Yorkville caters to luxury brands and expensive restaurants, there are still places for frugal common folk such as myself to make this trip worthwhile.
This is the route. We'll meet at the Ontario Firefighters Memorial at 4:30 PM. We'll cut through a bit of Queens Park and one or two small parks along the way to Yorkville. The route ends at Summer's Ice Cream after passing by the performances and holiday decor. We can stick around for snacks or dinner somewhere in the vicinity (not necessarily at the ice cream shop); we'll decide what we're feeling after the walk.
