We ask that you create a Meetup id that is either your first and last name, first name and last initial, or last name and first initial so fellow members can recognize you. Please DO NOT USE just your first name as your meetup id. Please read on for more information about us!
Membership is open to all women ages 18 and older.
TOWN is an offshoot of the Texas Parks & Wildlife's Becoming an Outdoors Woman (BOW) program. The Austin TOWN group was founded in 1997.
Our mission is to provide all women the opportunity to learn and experience outdoor activities in natural surroundings through a safe and supportive environment.
We encourage you to visit our webpage TOWN-Austin for more information about our monthly meetings that are in person and on Zoom and open to everyone.
Our annual membership fee covers operating costs. The events are either free or you pay the provider of the activities directly.
