This is a beautiful 5-mile trail dame hike to the Richland Creek bridge. This hike has moderate elevation changes. We will follow Richland Creek, cross the metal bridge over Laurel Creek, pass the Henderson campsite and continue 0.2 mile to this interesting 3 section bridge that crosses Richland Creek. We will take a break to enjoy a snack and return.

We will meet at the Laurel-Snow Falls trail head, 1431 Back Valley Rd, Dayton, TN 37321.

Essential Info - Bring at least 2 liters of water, snacks or a picnic lunch. Poles are helpful for walking over rocks and roots. Inclement Weather/Cancellation plan. The hike leaders will watch the weather and alert participants as soon as possible if there are weather issues that postpone this event.

This is dog friendly hike. Your dog must be on a leash no longer than 6'. You must scoop the poop, and bring water & treats for the dog. Dog must be friendly with people & other dogs. Please see Trail Dames dog policy for any other questions.

CONSEQUENCES OF A NO SHOW - To accommodate all, Trail Dames has a 3-strikes-you- are-out policy for NO SHOWS. Please make sure your RSVP is accurate at least 24 hours prior to event start. If there is a same day emergency, reach out to the hike leaders, please.
