One of the most mature forests within the Durham Regional Forest network.
Most of the route follows the widest trails with a very good variety of scenic viewpoints, thick forest, and riverside pathways.
We will park at 1401 Brock road parking lot and hike to the Glen Major forest from there as our usual parking spot is a pay parking now.

We will hike around 14+ km. It shall take us about 4 hours to complete.
Bring 2 L of water and some snack

**We are in late fall and start of the winter season.**

**Make sure to have microspikes/icers with you in the backpack or we will wear them from the start as per the weather conditions at the time of hike start.**
**No exceptions.**
