The 🧑‍🎄 Santa 🎅 Run 5K

Join me to walk or run The Santa Run $35.00 before Dec 2nd, price goes up afterward.

I'm planning on walking like last time to capture all the festivities, if you want to do the same.

Meet at Packet Pickup at 8:20am and join our group photo before the race and intros.

Santa IS coming to town… he lands in Louisville on December 14! 10:am Race start…they offer a 10k, 5k, and kids Mile Trail Race on the trails around Louisville.

SNOW or RAIN…they will celebrate with Holiday Music, tons of hot drinks and cookies… Runners receive a SKI CAP, Tree ornament Finisher Medallion and a collectors SNOW GLOBE..which they do every year to collect them.

Then a post party of gifts, raffles and Find-a-Santa on Course competition…find them on the course and return for prizes! Plenty of vendors and snacks…then a visit from SANTA for all the kids. Anyone else a big kid?

The, head to Downtown Louisville for a post-party at Waterloo Bar and Restaurant before you head back out forlast-minutee holiday shopping.

THIS EVENT will get you and your family in the holiday spirit…don’t miss it, limited to 400 runners.

Originally created in Germany as Saint Nicholas ( Sankt Nikolaus )... and he visits kids' homes on December 6th...(the USA has changed Santa over the years). Kids are happy to receive fruit, nuts, and chocolate in the boots! Boy, have things changed. This event is a celebration of the History of Santa, and have a fun run, get gifts, and have some hot drinks and food.

MEET SANTA and SOME ELVES

Win Gifts, Bring a Gift... and Make a Family Happy
Stay after the race, have some hot drinks, meet Santa, and BRING a wrapped gift for a needy family.

They will choose 2 local families with kids that don't have EVERYTHING they need to create a magical Christmas for their kids and family. These wrapped gifts will be given to a family on December 20, and we will have a follow-up story after Christmas. Santa on Course? Find one of the stuffed Santas on the run and receive a Special 🎁
FIND SANTAS on the COURSE & WIN
Like several of their other races, they will hide items on the course. Find them, and bring them back to the finish area to win prizes, gift cards, and cash.

Look for STUFFED Santa, Elves, Reindeer, and bring them back.

Run or walk fast and keep your eyes peeled for the one special Stuffy for a Grand Prize and Holiday Gift.

They are planning a 155-minute Build-a-Gingerbread house competition between 4 families...be ready!

Parking:
There is ample parking on the streets surrounding the park...all parking is FREE, just be sure not to park in front of a driveway.
Yes, they allow dogs at all our races, but on-leash is mandatory at all times...Strollers are also allowed..however THIS IS A TRAIL RACE...so if there is snow on the course, it will be difficult to push a heavy stroller on the trails.

They will have a short Packet Pickup Time on FRIDAY, DECEMBER 13, at Runners Roost Retail Store in Louisville ( 459 McCaslin Blvd, Louisville 80027) from 4:00pm til 6:30pm. Not Mandatory. But they will have a small gift for you for coming early.

Yes, if you, for some reason, want to change to the 5k race or up to 10k, we can change that on RACE DAY...come early, and we will make a NEW RACE BIB for you.

No refunds. However, they allow : Transfer to a friend, or you may transfer your entry to any of their 7 races over the next 12 months. Just email them, and we will get you a free entry for another race.

Come see their small town, cute shops and cafes and amazing running trails. The courses for the SANTA RUN will be in the trails and paths around Louisville. Sturdy running shoes with great traction will be recommended for the course. This event will happen even if 3-5 inches of snow are on the ground as the dirt paths will keep good traction. Trail Shoes!
