Play World Rhythms on hand drums and learn how they inform the Culture of the USA. Experience the depth of non verbal rhythmic communication and what it evokes in the group. Learn ancient transformative sonic geometry and how it affects consciousness.
We drum, move, speak rhythm, play percussion and enjoy rhythmic conversations. I tell stories and history from my vast experience with rhythm, music, recording and accompaniment.
These groups are beginner friendly and are for young people and adults. Many drums available to borrow or rent. I can also help you find your drum.

Join us for a fun experience of drumming, now on Monday nights in Sebastopol. This a multilevel class and we learn technique, basic patterns and variations through rhythm games, vocal percussion and body music. When appropriate, I introduce traditional rhythms gifted to me by my master teachers from Africa, Cuba and Brazil. All the information I present is supported by the lessons you can download at www.pulsewave.com and here as well as free audio here.
We meet at a private location with easy access and all the instruments are provided, or bring your own. The fee is $30 per session, or you can purchase at set of 4 classes at a discount. This is one of three drum classes a week that I teach. The others are for more experience players.
