Full Moonrise over downtown LA

Join me for another LA moonrise!

What to bring:

Tripod

Telephoto lens

Chair

Jacket

Snacks & water

I suggest using a lens 200mm or longer.

Moonrise is at 4:35pm and sunset is at 4:49pm. The moon will hit the top of the mountains right at sunset.

We will meet at the MLK Jr memorial statue. There will most likely be crowds of people. Arrive early to get parking and a shooting spot.

Carpools will be determined a few days prior to the event.

I will post more specific directions later. Using the event address in GPS may get you lost. I can share my location once I arrive, upon request

Event will be cancelled if it’s too cloudy. Weather will be checked the morning of the event.
