Crystal Pier (Pacific Beach) Sunrise, Moonset, and King Tide

Please join me at Crystal Pier in Pacific Beach for sunrise and moonset. Bring a wide angle and a telephoto lens. I’m not sure how well it will turn out but why not give it a try.

I’ll be on the south side of the pier with a blue tripod around the intersection of Ocean Blvd and Thomas Ave. Sunrise is 6:44am and moonset is 7:19am.
High tide is about 6.8 feet at 8:07am. Caution with the king tide, the beach and potentially boardwalk area may be very wet. Hopefully we can find a high and dry shooting location. Maybe the king tide will also provide some cool wave/surf shots.
