Known for its famous “Ice City” status with gorgeous sculptures and winter scenery, Harbin creates one of the World's biggest Ice and Snow Festival filled with colorful & interesting ice sculptures, activities and performances. During winter, travelers from all over the world attend this gala to enjoy the festive fun and laughter.
It is also reputed as the “Oriental Paris” and “Oriental Moscow” because of its dense European and Russian architectural relics and influence to make one wonder if they are in a Western City.

• Harbin International Ice & Snow Festival - This grand festival is the largest festival themed with ice and snow which starts in January every year and ends by Feb.
• China's Dreamy Snow Town - With its fairytale winter wonderland & mushroom houses scenes, you can have fun here trying skiing, dog-drawn ice-sledging, snow-mobile, ice-slides, snow maze or just engaging in a snow fight with your friends. Once it gets dark, you'll be mesmerized by the enchanting lantern-lit night spectacle with the colorful lights against the white snow backdrop! A sight to behold for all avid photographers.
• Spectacular Sunrise @ Yangcaoshan Hill - one of the most picturesque hill to catch the first rays of the sunrise. Here you'll get a chance to mingle with the locals and learn how to make dumplings and may have it for your lunch.
• Colorful Zhaolin Park - Be mesmerized by the spectacle at this park where the World's Largest Outdoor Ice-Lantern Show and performances takes place.
• Harbin Ice and Snow World - is one of the World’s Largest Snow Theme Park created out of of ice and snow. You will be amazed by such a huge wonderland park with record-breaking sculptures in size. These ice-carvings can be over three stories high and show very intricate designs - a mind-blowing and visually magnificent display, making it a highlight of your China trip there during winter.
  Impressive as they are during the daytime, at night they become magic. The multicolored lights embedded in the ground illuminate the ice structures, showing a completely different colorful dimension. Against the dark night sky, the bright and dazzling lights is simply spectacular!
• Siberian Tiger Park: Winter is also the time to see scores of Siberian tigers in their favorite element. Along with the Siberian Tigers, there are also Bengal tigers, lions, and other species of cat.
• Saint Sophia Cathedral located in the Sophia Square of Harbin, is the largest Eastern Orthodox church in the far east. It is also the most finely protected Byzantine architecture in China.
• Enjoy exciting Winter Activities: There are many exciting activities you can try - skiing, snow tubing, snowmobiling, snow archery etc.
• Russian Food, Flavor & Architecture: Harbin’s old quarter is still today mostly made up of buildings that were constructed by the Russians at the turn of the 19th century. Most of these buildings are built in baroque or byzantine style with spires and cupolas and interesting shades of yellow, white, green or red.
