What we’re about
Do you feel stranded in a concrete jungle of a city? Do you miss nature? Do you crave for adventure? Do you enjoy active holidays more than lazy hotel resorts on a beach? If you answer YES to any of those questions you’ve just found a right place and the right company :) In search of possibilities to spend time outside the city, we created this space for all like-minded people who would like to join us, and since adventure in a group is always more fun, help us make our own holidays a more amazing experience! We don’t mind missing a night out in clubs to get up at 4 am in the morning to go hiking. We enjoy carrying our rucksack rather than a Gucci bag and prefer swapping Louboutin stilettos for hiking shoes. And finally – we prefer walking a few kilometeres uphill than cruising along Sheikh Zayed Road in an air conditioned Porsche (well, most of the times anyway).

See all- Mayans & Volcanoes | Journey Across Guatemala, Honduras, El Salvador + BelizeAirport Terminal 3, Dubai
One of the most active volcanic regions in the world is Central America, home to the ancient civilizations of the Mayans and Aztecs. Volcanoes do not only bring eruptions, hot lava, and smoke but also provide fertile volcanic soil, rich natural resources, and natural barriers for defense. Despite eruptions that have sometimes led to the destruction of entire cities or agricultural lands, people have chosen to rebuild and reorganize their communities rather than relocate elsewhere. Latin America is not the only region where volcanoes and humans have coexisted in a unique symbiosis; a similar pattern can also be observed in Italy, Indonesia, or Japan.
Within two weeks on our cross-country off-beaten paths we will discover FOUR amazing countries together, present and past life in the shadow of volcanoes! We will climb 2 active volcanos: Acatenango to enjoy the spectacle of lava fountains, and Santa Ana for outstanding panoramas over the landscape and the 4th largest city in Guatemala - Quetzaltenango. We will sneak peak on Pompei alike Joya de Cerén - Mayan village, blasted once by pyroclastic eruption, that will give us exact overview on everyday Mayan life. Tikal – Mayan Lost City – will await us for a perfect mix of nature and archaeology. We will end up in Belize with famous Jaguar Paw Cave tubing through Mayan underground rivers and caves.

Find all trekkups at linktr.ee/trekkup - No Paine, No Gain | Trekking Across Patagonia, Argentina + ChileAirport Terminal 1, Dubai
In the southernmost part of South America at the southern section of the Andes Mountains, spread over hundreds of thousands of square kilometres across Argentina and Chile is a region of unimaginable beauty, packed with dramatic rocky mountain peaks reaching for the sky, an abundance of glaciers gliding into turquoise mirror lakes dotted with ice bergs, Andean green forests along steep elevations and deep wide valleys, with awe-inspiring views considered by many the most beautiful in the world!
Welcome to Patagonia!
El Chalten, on the banks of the Rio de las Vueltas in Los Glaciares National Park and at the base of the Cerro Torre and Cerro Fitz Roy spires, is the trekking capital of Argentina! A small community of locals and adventurers, it’s the gateway to numerous trails and treks to the glacial lakes Laguna Torre and Laguna de los Tres and especially to the surrounding mountain peaks of Mt. Fitzroy.
Rising majestically from Laguna de los Tres, the mythical Mt. Fitz Roy’s spectacular sawtooth spires and smooth frost-polished granite can be seen near and far, from snowy mountain passes to lush green plains, all the way to the lake which sits at it’s base. It’s name comes from Captain Fitzroy of the HMS Beagle, which accompanied Charles Darwin up the Rio Santa Cruz in 1834.
Torres del Paine National Park encompasses even more mountains, glaciers, lakes, and rivers in Patagonia with the Cordillera del Paine as the centrepiece in between the Magellanic subpolar forests and the Patagonian Steppes. Paine means “blue” in the native Tehuelche language, which is the right way to view the three granite peaks of the massif. Extending up to 2500 meters and surrounded by countless lakes named for various explorers like Grey, Pehoe, Nordenskiold, and Sarmiento.
Grey Glacier, which once covered all of southern Argentina and Chile 18,000 years ago, now sits neatly within the lake which bears its name. With luminous sides, deep blues, ice folds, and cave slivers, it’s one of the most famous glaciers in Patagonia.
On the edge of the Strait of Magellan is Punta Arenas at the literal bottom of the Americas and the gateway to Antarctica! We’ll finish our Patagonian adventures here and dream of more to come!

Trekkup CrewNot open - Rwandagandarundi | Journey to Gorillas and Waterfalls of Rwanda Uganda+BurundiDubai International Airport, Dubai
Abracadabra, Rwandagandarundi!
This is a cross-country East African journey through Uganda, Rwanda, and Burundi!
Waterfalls that quake at your feet, gorillas that make you shake in your shoes, and high-jump drumbeats that’ll have you tapping your toes! It’s Rumble in the Jungle meets Lords of the Drums with a little wanda’in Rwanda.
The Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, on the south-western edge of Uganda, along the Albertine Rift, contains nearly half the world’s population of mountain gorillas. Coming face-to-face with these KINGS, the silverback is overwhelming, a little bit scary, enough to leave you breathless. He’s imposing, majestic, elegant, strong … and gorgeous! Their eyes speak as much as a human gaze, their lips can tell us if they’re smiling, worried, or angry, and their hands nearly identical to ours, you’ll want to reach out and introduce yourself.
The gorillas are not the only thing that rumbles! Uganda is home to massive national parks full of wildlife, famed forests, and the breath-taking spectacle of Murchison Falls, where the Nile forces its way through a gap in the rocks, only 7 meters wide, to then tumble 43 mts before flowing into Lake Albert.
Rwanda is a study in contrasts, mainly in comparison to her neighbours. As we wind our way through lush hills and gentle cattle-farms on our way to Kigali you’ll notice how pristine is the landscape, neat villages and cafes along the road, green grounds around every bend and turn.
Crossing through dense forests in search of silverbacks, standing atop ground-shaking waterfalls, exploring rolling hills and savannahs dotted with wildlife, watching pristine landscapes unfold from border to border, it’s Rwandagandarundi!
Let’s go!!
Day 1 // Kampala to Murchison
After arrival and immigration formalities in Uganda, we’ll leave Kampala behind and drive north-west into the plains of Nakasongola – to Rhino Sanctuary. We will have a stop for lunch before we go into the wild. Ziwa is the last refuge of Uganda’s white rhino, previously hunted to extinction during more turbulent times. We should be lucky enough to spot Shoebill. We’ll reach our lodge among the savannahs in time for dinner, sunset, and rest.
Day 2 // Murchison Falls
Early morning breakfast and game drive at sunrise when the wildlife is most active. After we check out of our lodge, we’ll make our way to the top of Murchison Falls where the rumble in the jungle is the falls at our feet! After we dry off, continue onwards to Queen Elizabeth NP for a few more spots of wildlife and settle in to our camp.
Day 3 // Buhoma
Breakfast at camp and pack up our gear for journey to Buhoma. We’ll catch a glimpse of Lake Edward and have lunch on the road and make a few roadside stops before we reach our community rest camp for the evening and dream of our gorilla trekking tomorrow!
Day 4 // Bwindi
The gorillas are early birds, so we’ll pack up our breakfast and head to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest for a quick briefing before we hit a trail in search of primates! After our unforgettable encounter, we’ll head back out of forest and on the road back to Buhoma with a stop to see pygmies on the way.
Day 5 // Rwanda & Kigali
We’ll pack up and check-out of rest camp and start our journey across the border to Rwanda all the way to Kigali! With an early start, we should reach our destination in time for late lunch before heading out to explore this remarkable city, with few stops at Genocide Memorial and quick glimpse of Hotel Rwanda.
Day 6 // Burundi & Gitega
We will say au Revoir to Rwanda and head to Burundi, transfer to Gitega the second largest city of Burundi and the political capital. On a hill outside of Gitega stands several straw-roofed structures wich was formally the palace for the monarchy (disbanded in 1996). There we witness an impressive music performance from the world famous and talented burundian drummer.
Day 7 // Karera waterfalls
After breakfast we hit the road to admire the Karera Waterfalls and drive further south, to see the source of the Nile - the site marked by a compact pyramid
Day8 // Bujumbura
