Details

Meeting point will be the art installation near the Lee Blvd dock. Bring partners/spouses/other friends if you like.

Ground rules:

  1. Talk about anything, but come prepared with topics in mind as a backup if the conversation doesn't flow.
  2. Be curious, kind, and open-minded.
  3. The best way to learn about someone is ask questions and listen. People like to talk about themselves; be curious and let them.
  4. Feel free to talk to multiple people during the walk.
  5. No selling or promoting. Practice being interested in others in a non-instrumental way, i.e., no agendas like business, romance, etc.
  6. Show up on time and stay the entire time. If you can't, there will be another one.

Format adapted from Kevin Kelly & Craig Mod "Walk-and-Talk," and Elle Beecher "The Board Walks."
