Members of the Mebane Social Meetup group will be joining us for this event. Doing more together!

Nobody should go hungry. Here's an opportunity to lend a helping hand. Food banks rely on the support of volunteers. Most of us have known hard times at some point in our lives and know the stress it brings. Here's a chance to make somebody's life a little better.

I've done this many times before and I want you to know this is unglamorous work. You will get dirty (gloves suggested) and will require some bending and lifting.

Usually, the work involves sorting through donations. Items are checked for expiration date and then sorted by category. Sometimes, grocery bags are assembled for distribution. In short, we'll do whatever tasks assigned to us by the staff.
