Who is Tribe of One Love?
We are a community committed to supporting one another in improving human connection and quality of life. On Saturdays, we enjoy transformative discussions on topics aimed at sharing experiences, gaining insights, improving relationships, and shifting our mindset to a more loving and inclusive place.

Why Open Discussions?
Our discussions foster a culture of learning and mutual understanding while exploring diverse perspectives on important topics. In a world increasingly focused on division, these conversations offer a space to bridge gaps between differing viewpoints and practice respectful discourse, creating a more inclusive and connected community.

What's the Goal?
Transformation. We facilitate self and community transformation through meaningful conversations. At the end of each conversation, each participant shares how the conversational perspectives might improve their lives. This practice encourages reflection and actionable insights, promoting subtle yet impactful shifts towards betterment each week.

“Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has.”
- Margaret Mead

Community Guidelines for Open Discussions
Remember Our Intentions:
We aim to inspire open and transformative conversations, uplift and learn from one another, support each other with our collective ideas and experiences, and serve as valuable resources for improving the quality of our relationships and lives.

Be Open to Learning:
Complete the recommended resources or pre-work before attending. Be prepared to encounter a variety of perspectives, as our aim is to explore different ways of thinking. Embrace the valuable insights that resonate with you and leave the rest behind.

Listen Actively:
Our goal is to listen empathetically without interrupting and seek to understand others' views. We come from diverse backgrounds and have varied opinions, and that’s not only OK but expected.

Be Respectful and Inclusive:
Use inclusive language and tone, while avoiding assumptions, divisive generalizations, judgmental behavior, and blame.

Be Mindful of Time, Space, and Context:
Express your thoughts clearly and succinctly, while being conscious of how much time and space you are using. This group values discussion over monologues. If you’re comfortable speaking, consider stepping back to give others a chance to share. If you haven’t spoken yet, we encourage you to step forward and share your thoughts, as your perspectives are valuable.

Foster Constructive Dialogue:
Focus on questioning and evaluating ideas, not individuals. Seek to understand and inform, rather than to criticize. Share information to enrich the discussion without expecting others to agree or know better. We are not here to change others. If you find yourself feeling triggered or upset, take a moment to reflect before responding. Aim to focus on solutions and avoid engaging in complaining or gossip.

Confidentiality and Safety:
Respect the confidentiality of participants and ensure the space remains safe for everyone. It is upon all of us to create and maintain this safe environment. If you feel uncomfortable at any point, please reach out to the facilitator or another supportive member of the group.

Thank you for visiting!
