Hi, welcome to Triton, you've chosen a great group to play volleyball. We play 2X2 and 4X4 Intermediate and above levels only . Feel free to join us anytime throughout the day. We typically have 2 courts for doubles games and 2 courts for 4's. If you are brand new, ask an organizer or other players for a little assistance.
The purpose for this event is to maintain a high-quality competitive level of play and have a lot of FUN.

Intro: Level 1, 2, & 3 skill levels

You may be barred from playing if you cannot serve, pass, set, and hit 50%-90% of the time. We request that your defensive/offensive skill such as setting, hitting and blocking are consistent. You know when you are at fault, call yourself on lifts, nets, one over, bad hand-sets and understand proper volleyball etiquette, etc.

UPON ARRIVING: SIGN UP: The sheet will be located on the clip board (between the courts hanging on the white posts) and will be used for NEXT UP (group games).

Use the NEXT UP sheets for DOUBLES and GROUP to challenge. DOUBLES: continue with the morning doubles Next Up page. GROUP: use the Group sign in/ Next Up sheet. Cross off your names when you take the court. If you are signed up for DOUBLES or GROUP and it's your turn if you are on the Court playing in another game or not ready to play you lose your spot.

COURTS: The 2 courts to the NORTH (closest to Lifeguard Tower 14) will be for GROUP (once 2 courts are needed) and the SOUTH (closest to the Pier) will be for DOUBLES.

WAIT LIST: Wait-listers are welcome to join at Organizers discretion; we have a limit of 42 but typically up the number if there is demand. If you are on the waitlist you will move into the RSVP category as RSVP’s cancel so please make sure to visit this site Sunday mornings. Meet Up has a phone app and is easy to use.

GUESTS: We welcome guests +2 and encourage them to become members (it’s only $10 per year) so the same guest is limited to 3 visits. You must add your guests when you RSVP in order for them to play with the group.

Our games include intermediate and above levels only, are enjoyable and competitive. We have broad range of players who are looking to keep upping their game and have fun all at the same time. We play 2's & 4's depending on the mix of players who attend. The doubles games are competitive to play and entertaining to watch when you're resting. Our group games are fun and chill & the best way to meet new members.

Anyone who wishes to be ultra-awesome, our sensei in residence, Dan Doubroff, beach pro in the fabulous 90's, offers lessons on Sundays. Dan authored the FIVB Training Manual, which is free to download from his website:

A reminder – as a courtesy to your fellow players make sure you RSVP and please be on time! If you can’t make it remember to change your RSVP so wait-listers can play. SEE RSVP SPECIFICS BELOW.

1. You must RSVP to play. You can generally cancel RSVPs before the event, if you're unable to do so please let the organizer know.

2. Wait-listers can come at organizer discretion. If court space is an issue, RSVPs get first chance to play.

Beyond lots, there are over 400 City street meters in the Downtown and North Manhattan Beach business districts.

1308 The Strand (13th street & Strand) in MB is about a block or two north of MB Pier.

Also, if you go north from 13th street Valley/Ardmore Drive seems to have free parking spaces as well (Early bird gets the worm). On 15th street at the Post Office is free parking.
