What we’re about
Troy Creative Writing Meetup is a community of writers of all genres and levels. Our group was launched in the creative hub of the Capital District, NY, an area rich with artistic interest and opportunity. Since our inception, our group’s goal has been to share resources and insights to build each other up and help one another grow as writers.

As a result of COVID-19, we’ve adapted as a group and meet weekly or bi-weekly online via Zoom. Since then we have expanded our member outreach, opening doors for collaboration with writers from different states and countries, creating a chance to broaden networks and friendships.
This group is geared towards productivity, shared ideas and collaborative experiences. All types of writers are welcome, from hobbyists to professionals. We are LGBTQIA+ and diversity inclusive. If you’re interested in being a part of a creative community, learning from other writers and becoming involved in new opportunities, this group is for you!
