Music in the Park Featuring The Richmond Symphony

Join us for an enchanting evening at Music in the Park, featuring the renowned Richmond Symphony! Experience the magic of live orchestral music in a beautiful outdoor setting. The Richmond Symphony, which includes over 70 professional musicians each season, will delight audiences with a captivating performance from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m.

Event Highlights:

• Live Performance: Enjoy a breathtaking symphony performance by The Richmond Symphony, showcasing a diverse repertoire of classical and contemporary pieces.
• Outdoor Ambiance: Relax and unwind in the park's serene atmosphere, perfect for an evening of musical enjoyment.
• Early Entry: Gates open at 6:00 p.m., giving you plenty of time to find the perfect spot, set up your picnic, and soak in the pre-show ambiance.

Seating and Amenities:

• Seating: Concertgoers are invited to sit in lawn chairs or on picnic blankets.
• Concessions: Alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase from the concession stand operated by Friends of Pocahontas. Purchases can be made via cash or credit.
• Bag Policy: All bags are permitted but are subject to search.

Parking Details:

• Fee: There is a $10 parking fee per vehicle when you arrive. To make the event more affordable, we encourage carpooling with friends to split the fee.

Rules and Regulations:

• Prohibited Items: Absolutely no outside alcohol, canopies, illegal substances, illicit goods, fireworks, or laser pointers will be permitted at the event. Violators will be held accountable and prosecuted by state and federal law.
• Weather: This event is rain or shine, so please come prepared for the weather.

What to Bring:

• Blankets or lawn chairs for comfortable seating
• Picnic baskets with your favorite snacks and beverages. There might also be food trucks available.

This event is free for all members. Space is limited to 30 people. All attendees must have a confirmed ticket from Trying to Adult RVA to join us.
