Join us for an enchanting evening of live music in the garden, featuring the vibrant sounds of Dance Candy! Enjoy the beautiful surroundings of Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden while experiencing an electrifying mix of hip hop, pop, jazz, funk, and R&B.

About the Band:
Dance Candy brings a unique blend of musical styles that create a big, funky party scene. With a vibe that feels like a Pharrell meets Justin Timberlake kind of night, they mix in the soul of Aretha Franklin and Bob Marley, the modern style of Cee-Lo and Bruno Mars, and chase it down with a nightcap of Stevie Wonder. Slide into a seat at a Dance Candy party and you’ll know there’s something special happening tonight.

Event Highlights:

• Live Music: Enjoy a fantastic live performance from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., with a brief intermission to catch your breath and mingle.

Additional Information:

• Rain or Shine: Flowers After 5 is a rain or shine event. The Garden Staff monitors the weather closely, and if there is a high likelihood of hazardous weather, the event will be cancelled.
• Admission: Admission to the garden is $20, payable upon arrival, unless you are a Garden Member.

What to Bring:

• Lawn chairs or blankets for seating
• No outside food or drinks are allowed.

The concert will be held at Grace Arents Garden, adjacent to historic Bloemendaal House.

Please note this is a free event to the public, however, if you want to join our group and make some friends, we invite Trying to Adult RVA members to join us.

Space to join our group is limited to 30 people. Spots are first claimed first confirmed. All attendees must have a confirmed ticket to attend.
