I was fortunate a spot opened last Labor Day week. This campground is wonderful. Being amongst the pines in cooler weather with a good lake to Kayak, fish, hike was a blessing during this hot summer. Though RV spots are booked quickly tent camping is wonderful. The tent spots are really nice and asked if I could put my popup (tent on wheels) I was told no. During your stay you can travel into town which is very close to shop eat Etc. Pine Top is a half hour away and offers more to do. I really like State campgrounds because they have clean bathrooms and showers. Very safe with Rangers and camp hosts eager to answer your questions. If interested book your site soon before full.
