Back by popular demand - Christmas at charrovida’s!

Hi everyone, please note the changed date of Friday, Dec 20!
Last year was great fun - let's do it again.
Some gifting fun, without having to buy anything! Please bring something you have in your home that no longer serves you. We will draw numbers and take turns giving and receiving (and sometimes taking away). The quirkier the object the better, but not necessary.

RULES:

• *Bring a wrapped, anonymous GIFT (remember no buying allowed) to the event. **No more than $20 value for the used object. **
• Place the gifts on the gift table.
• Draw numbers to determine the order of who selects.
• The person who drew #1 selects a gift from the pile, opens it, and holds it up for all to see.
• The person who drew #2 decides whether to steal that gift or unwrap another present from the pile. If a person's gift is stolen, that person has the choice to steal someone else's gift (except for the one they lost!) or select a new gift to open. After a new gift is opened, the next person in order who hasn't yet had their turn makes the choice to steal or open a new gift.
• The game continues in such a fashion, with each person getting the chance to steal someone’s gift or unwrap their own surprise.
• When there are no more unwrapped gifts, the person who drew #1 gets one last turn. If they decide not to steal a gift and keep the one they have, the game is over. If they do steal a gift, the game continues until someone decides to keep their gift, rather than steal.
• Each gift can only be stolen three times!

****If you are at a loss of what to bring, a wrapped food or drink item is always welcome.
