Are you ready for an adventure??? Have you ever experienced 20+ hours of daylight? What about seeing penguins, flying birds, seals, whales and icebergs up close? You can even view them from your Veranda Suite Balcony on the ship.

Let's take a zodiak (inflatable motorboat) between icebergs and then ashore so we can get eye to eye with seals and penguins. Maybe get in a kayak and paddle on your own for another unique experience?

A PASSPORT BOOK IS REQUIRED FOR THIS TRIP, AND IT MUST BE VALID UNTIL JULY 2025 OR LATER! THERE ARE CURRENTLY NO VACCINATION OR PRE-ARRIVAL VISA REQUIREMENTS.

We will have a trip mixer in October 2024 to go over any last minute questions, changes, air schedule, and packing tips. Plus, we'll get to meet each other:-).

The official trip will depart the U.S. December 4, and we arrive in Puntas Arenas, Chile (Patagonia) the next day. We'll check out the area and spend the night in our hotel before boarding our chartered 2.5 hour flight to King George Island (where we'll board our vessel for 6 days). All meals and most beverages included.

After flying back to Puntas Arenas, we'll have 1 more hotel night before our flight home (or an extension). I can customize your flights so you can arrive early and/or stay after our adventure. Hey, might as well see more cool stuff while you're down there:-). It will be their summer!

There will be a post-trip extension organized by the group, and I can assist with your pre or post planning. Due to the proximity to our Thailand trip in November, an escorted group pre-trip will not be scheduled.

TOUR COST: $14,000.00/PERSON (Double occupancy)
Additional single occupancy cost: $3000.00

These prices are reduced from $18,000 for the tour and from $12,000 for single occupancy. Hence, our choice of dates.

Travel insurance is required, and I will give you a quote based on your birthdate and how much cancellation coverage you want. I must book this for you within 2 weeks of your deposit if you plan to join us. This will also cover pre-existing medical conditions. Emergency evacuation and medical coverage are a necessity, even though we probably won't need them.

Airfare cost is not included in the above price and air upgrades are available. I will book our air so we travel together or arrive at the same time for our "airport to hotel" transfer. I won't know exact pricing until January, but I will have estimates so you can get your funds to me for ticket purchases. Seat assignments will be confirmed, and I will need your Delta frequent flyer number, if you have one.

DEPOSIT: $4000 (plus travel insurance premium within 2 weeks)

MONTHLY PAYMENTS: A payment plan will be needed based on your total cost with airfare, upgrades, insurance premium, etc so all financial obligations to the tour company and airline can be met.

FINAL PAYMENT: All monies must be received on or before July 1, 2024.
There will be a couple option activities to choose from. I will send out this info for you to decide.

AVERAGE TEMPERATURES: You can expect daytime highs in the 30's and 40's, unless there is a weather system in play. A waterproof parka to keep is included, and waterproof boots will be loaned out free of charge. You must bring waterproof pants and layers to protect you from the elements.

A signed waiver is due from all travelers. All monies are non-refundable. No animals, medicinal marijuana, or illegal drugs are permitted. Assistance is available to find you a same sex roommate, but you will need to be booked at the same time. Success is not guaranteed so you will be responsible for any single supplement costs.
