What we’re about
Film as literature. Directors are the authors of their film, they choose everything from the actors to camera angles. Nothing is by chance, bar bad editing. This group isn't about being film critics, it's about analyzing the choices the directors make and how those choices contribute to the telling of the story. We may view films based on real events but the truth is relevant ONLY if the change contributes, negatively or positively, to the telling of the author's story. All films or Limited Series films are to be viewed before the discussion.
