Sequoyah State Park Hike

Details

Come explore a unique state park that has multiple towering pine trees and even bald cypress trees. We will meet in front of the park office near the main entrance. FYI, a day pass is $10. From there, we will hike 5 to 5.5 miles in total on the Deer Run Trail, the Eagle Roost Trail and the Bluebird Trail. The hiking will be easy as the park terrain is mostly flat. Afterwards, we will drive to the southern portion of the park to explore the beautiful nature center before we eat at the restaurant inside the illustrious Sequoyah Lodge. We will cap off the adventure by walking a short distance out to the edge of the peninsula where you can take in gorgeous views of Ft. Gibson Lake.
