**About the Festival:** As fall sheds its leafy coat in preparation for winter, the first weekend in December once again plays host to the beloved **[Village of Port Jefferson Charles Dickens Festival.](https://www.gpjac.org/dickensfestival)** Join us as we celebrate the Festival’s 28th Anniversary through our cherished traditions and spectacular new additions that will add a sparkle and a smile to this magical weekend.

The Village, once again, will be rich with our troupe of Dickens’ Street Characters and alive with a host of musical, magical and theatrical presentations sure to delight the Scroogiest of curmudgeons. The restaurants offer Dickensian inspired fare, while the wide range of shops in the village stay open for extended hours for holiday shopping.

**GETTING THERE**: Pick up LIRR from any LIRR station such as PENN STATION, ATLANTIC TERMINAL AND JAMAICA going to PORT JEFFERSON. All LIRR to Port Jefferson connect at Jamaica Station at 8:59AMam and at Huntington Station at 9:55AM, and arriving at Port Jefferson at 10:42AM.

* **IF YOU ARE TAKING LIRR FROM GRAND CENTRAL**: LIRR train leaves at 8:25AM, **transfer at Jamaica Station at 8:59am, another transfer at Huntington Station at 9:55AM**, and arrive at Port Jefferson station at 10:42AM. ONE-WAY OFF-PEAK ticket is $15.25
* **IF YOU ARE TAKING LIRR FROM PENN STATION**: LIRR train leaves at 8:36AM, **transfer Huntington Station at 9:55AM**, and arrive at Port Jefferson station at 10:42AM. ONE-WAY OFF-PEAK ticket is $15.25
* **IF YOU ARE TAKING LIRR FROM ATLANTIC TERMINAL**: LIRR train leaves at 8:24AM, **transfer at Jamaica Station at 8:59am, another transfer at Huntington Station at 9:55AM**, and arrive at Port Jefferson station at 10:42AM. ONE-WAY OFF-PEAK ticket is $15.25
