Turtle Team: Turtle Rescue Volunteering with Earthlings NYC

The Turtle Team is a citizen science, grassroots-powered rehab and rescue program where we work with live turtles!

**Note: We are currently experimenting with using Meetup to manage our volunteer opportunities! Please bear with us if there are hiccups!**

We meet Tues, Thurs, and Sat from 5-6pm at the Prime Produce Guildhall to learn about turtles and turtle care. Each session we get to practice turtle care and observations working with anywhere from 1 to 5 different rescued and rehabilitated turtles (many of which we source through the New York Turtle and Tortoise Society Rehab Program run by Lorri Cramer). Sometimes we participate in other ecology-related or turtle-related field trips and special events together.
