What we’re about

The Sierra Club is the nation's oldest and largest grassroots environmental organization, with over 700,000 members nationwide. These individuals are using grassroots activism and community action to protect America's environment, for our families, for our future. Founded in 1986, the Turtle Coast Group of Sierra Club encompasses 80 miles of Florida's Atlantic Coast from Titusville to Vero Beach. More than 1,200 Sierra Club members live within the Brevard and Indian River County boundaries of the Turtle Coast Group. Our goal is to explore, enjoy, and protect the wild places of the earth. Join our meetup to learn about the outings we go on and events that we do. Meetings, outings and other events are also posted on our website The Sierra Club is the nation's oldest and largest grassroots environmental organization, with over 700,000 members nationwide.
