Adult Math: A discussion of Math Anxiety and Numerical Literacy

Join Darren for a 1 hour intro session specifically geared towards adults who want to be Numerically Literate and overcome Math Anxiety.

This course is based on Darren's 'Without A Calculator: A Course In Numerical Literacy', which he offers on Tuesdays to pre-Algebra and Algebra students.

In this Adult Course, attendees are invited to talk about their own math story and learn about Divisibility. Divisibility is Darren's favorite subject to study and teach and is one of the base ways to build a solid understanding of how numbers work, including fraction and decimal concepts.

Together we can change your view on Math and finally get to the root of fully understanding Math and how it works in the world around us.

This course is open to everyone of all backgrounds. The only pre-requisite is some familiarity with mutliplication facts. Educators welcome.
