Welcome to our Twice Exceptional (2E) Parent Support and Advocacy Group on Meetup.com! This group is dedicated to providing a safe and supportive space for parents of gifted children who also have exceptionalities such as learning disabilities, ADHD, anxiety, and more. We aim to share resources, exchange experiences, and discuss effective strategies in navigating the challenges of special education advocacy and school reform. Whether your child is in elementary, middle, or high school, join us to connect with like-minded parents and our group facilitator, Maggie Eubanks, a 20+ year educator, Board Certified in Special Education, and a 2e individual themselves. Learn from additional experts in the field, and empower each other in advocating for our twice-exceptional learners.
