What we’re about
Ukulele Friends is all about having fun while learning the ukulele and improving our playing skills. We welcome all skill levels from beginning to advanced and love sharing what we know about this fun little instrument. Playing the ukulele can relieve stress and bring communities together. It's also a pastime that is wholesome and appropriate for any age.
We meet every two weeks at the San Diego Music Studio in San Marcos California from 12:00 to 2:00. Come join us for some laughs, music, good friends, and sometimes we have cookies.

At this Meetup we'll continue practicing for our Christmas Concert at Bayshire Carlsbad Senior Living which is scheduled for Saturday December 14th at 12pm (noon). Space is limited and we have room for 20 or so UFO members. We'll have a sign up sheet at this Meetup, so please let us know at the Meetup if you'd like to perform.
Note that we'll be combining the morning Beginners Ukulele Club with the UFO Meetup. We will begin our meetup at 11:30, and will have about a half hour of beginner material. At 12pm, we will then join with the Ukulele Friends Ohana (UFO) meetup group for the remainder of the day.
The first songs played with the combined group will be easier material, and should be fun without being too challenging. The later songs will be a bit more advanced, but all are welcome to stay and enjoy the music, play along, and get some coaching from the UFO members.After our last practice we narrowed down the list and added a few songs:

Bayshire Carlsbad Senior Living Concert
This is our combined D.O.Uke and UFO members Christmas Concert held at Bayshire Carlsbad Senior Living, 3140 El Camino Real in Carlsbad.
Space is limited and Bayshire has asked that we limit our participants to 20 people total (13 from UFO) Please see the December 7th Meetup for details and how to sign up.
We'll meet at Bayshire at 11am to get set up and start playing at noon.
