What we’re about
We are a warm, caring Unitarian Universalist congregation that appreciates diversity, values intellectual curiosity, knows how to have fun, and seeks to honour and preserve the world and all its inhabitants. We gather in a community to celebrate the beauty and mystery of life in this world, and support one another as we face life’s challenges. While we share and affirm Unitarian Universalist Principles, we believe that each person walks their own path in search of truth and meaning and requires the freedom to follow it. We are an open-minded and pluralistic community of free thinkers that includes and welcomes those from many faith traditions, doubters, seekers, and atheists. We strive as a community to act with integrity, courage, and purpose.

Sunday Service
Earth-Centred Joy
Worship Leader: Laura-Beth Falter
Description: Many cultures around the world have been celebrating the Earth for thousands of years. Unitarian Universalism recognizes nature-based spirituality as one of the sources of our living tradition. In this lighthearted service, we will explore some of the Earth-centred celebrations of this joyful season.Hybrid Services - In person at the UFL at 557 Clarke Road or on Zoom (see below).
Sunday Services are held year-round 10:45am and are central to our religious life and community. We draw on a variety of sources and traditions, and address themes ranging from social concerns to spiritual growth. Our services have many common elements including music and congregational singing, spoken and silent meditation, the sharing of joys and concerns, discussion and a Time for All Ages for our children during the school year.
Services vary from week to week and may include a sermon or reflection from a minister, a member of the congregation, or a guest speaker from the larger community.
Please come as you are and know you will be welcome! Folks are invited to stay for refreshments following the service when they can mingle and get to know one another better.

September to June: Children attend the first part of the service and participate in a time for all Ages before going to our Children's area to attend our Religious Exploration Program.
