Day trip.to Derry

Derry is a wonderfull city made faneous for Derry Girls The Undertones Martin Mc Guiness and John Hume and Seamus Heaney .
of course Foyle Shopping Centre is one of the best in Northern Ireland .

However it's Derry history where it excells .
From bloody Sunday to the Apprentice boys Derry has fantastic walking tours . However it has great museums. The Guild Hall the scene of the Good Friday Agreement is super .The Tower Museum is very good as is the Bloody Sunday Museum and the Seamus Heaney gallery .Those liking their vinyl the guy who formed Stiff little fingers has a great shop .

Good train and bus service with ample parking for those bringing cars
