This is a longer distance outing more suited to experienced paddlers.
You should have prior basic paddleboard experience and have successfully completed half day tours with the lead pack . We are hoping to get all the way to the head spring before turning around. Round trip expect to paddle around 12 miles. We are posting this event well in advance so you have plenty of time to get to our classes and decide if this is the event for you.

Join us for a day of sun and fun on the scenic Rainbow River. We will gather downstream and head out up the beautiful river to our stopping point, which is hopefully the head spring take a rest and have a floating break then turn around and paddle back down. After we exit the water the group can get lunch/libations nearby.
If you have a mask and snorkel/fins you can bring them.

Due to distance/logistics we will be closing RSVPs 2 days day prior as we need to plan and load prior to the Black Friday trip to Silver Springs as we are not driving back to shuffle gear.

Water and suncreen/hat are recommended, a snack for lunch would be advised. (see below)

On the Rainbow River disposable items are not allowed, so bring water in a refillable sports bottle/thermos. Snacks should be packed in a tupperware container. One time use water bottles or prepackaged snacks are not allowed. Alcohol is not allowed. These are river rules, not ours.
