What we’re about
This book club meets in Hillcrest, North Park, and nearby uptown areas. This is a fun and social group- we want to discuss the books but also get to know each other and have a good time! We'll meet monthly in a coffee shop, brewery or bar in the Uptown area and discuss the book of the month.
At least to start, books will broadly fit the theme of "Diverse Voices," meaning books written by diverse authors and/or with a diverse main character who has a unique perspective. "Diversity" can mean a lot of things, from country of origin to sexual orientation to disability status, and we're interested in the whole range.
