What we’re about
Welcome to Urban Soul Line Dancing in Alexandria, VA. Many people love to line dance or have a desire to learn. If you fall into this category, join us for camaraderie and fun at any of the following classes (location provided upon joining the meetup).
Virtual and in-person classes are offered.
- Wednesdays (in-person beginner class) from 7:00-8:00pm
- Thursdays (virtual beginner class, 6:30-7:30pm and virtual intermediate/advance class, 7:45-9:00pm
- Saturdays (in-person beginner/intermediate/advance class) from 3:00-4:30pm.
In each class, we will warm-up, review dances taught in previous week(s) and learn new ones. There are local weekly line dance socials which you are encouraged to attend. It's an opportunity to meet new people, dance with your peers and practice the dances you have learned.
This is an excellent health and wellness activity and a great form of exercise for all ages and genders. No experience, no partner necessary.
