Come and celebrate the return of the light with the Winter Solstice!

Beka, Jacob, Ayla and Violet are welcoming us to their Christmas tree farm in Naramata!

To celebrate the season, we are making mullein torches to create a spiral lit walkway for our fire ceremony. In the ceremony we set our intentions for the upcoming new year - as the light returns.

We will also make peanut butter & bird seed ornaments from pine cones. You may bring popcorn or dried fruit garlands to decorate a nature tree for our animal and bird friends.

Please feel free to bring additional offerings. Some families will make popcorn garlands for the trees!

There will be warm drinks and multiple fires for hot dog roasting. Beka is making meat chili. You are welcome to bring something to share for a potluck if you'd like!

**Things to remember:**
This will be an outdoor event so dress accordingly.

Naramata is a dark skies community, so flashlights and headlamps are recommended! It's dark after 6pm

Bring mugs for warm drinks, hot dogs, buns and condiments, camping chairs, and dishes for chili. Plus any contributions for decorating our nature tree.

VoF is supplying the wax for the torches and mullein stalks.

We are looking forward to this final celebration of 2024 with all our friends.
